Sandy Beach is a lovely stretch of beach away from Wakiki. It has (by far) the biggest waves I have ever seen.. SANDY BEACH is on OAHU'S southern coast about 19km12/mi east of WAIKIKI and less than 4km/2.5mi from the south-east corner of the island. I came in by bus - BUS 22 from WAIKIKI will drop off across the road. Cost is only $2.50.
